All Mazars entities around the world are operating to heightened levels of cyber security measures. We are auditing our systems and reinforcing them, where needed, with relevant mechanisms to prevent the same attack happening again. 23/05/2023: Statement regarding cyberattack on Mazars in Brazil

Mazars in Brazil was recently the target of a cyberattack.

The IT infrastructure of Mazars in Brazil is independent from other Mazars countries. Therefore, there is no risk of propagation of this attack from Brazil to any other data centre of Mazars entities in the world: data related to clients who engaged Mazars outside Brazil have not been impacted.

Our cyber security procedures in Brazil were initiated immediately to stop the cyberattack and eradicate the possibility of a leak from that moment. Independent forensic experts are assessing the scope of the data leaked as well as the root cause of this attack. We are contacting our clients in Brazil to keep them informed and address their questions. As soon as we know the scope of which subset of data and which clients were impacted, we will provide our clients, regulators and any other relevant stakeholders with transparent and detailed information and will take all necessary actions.
