Yuichi Inoue Audit, Director

Prior to joining Mazars in September 2022, he was a senior manager at the Tokyo office of KPMG AZSA LLC, where he was mainly engaged in audits of companies operating globally.
At KPMG AZSA LLC, in addition to statutory audits of listed companies, he has extensive experience in referral audits of Japanese subsidiaries of foreign corporations, IFRS/China GAAP conversion work, J-SOX implementation advisory work, and accounting advisory work for overseas subsidiaries of Japanese companies and Japanese subsidiaries of foreign corporations.
From 2011 to 2013, he studied at the School of Commerce, Central University of Finance and Economics in Beijing, China, under KPMG's company-funded study abroad programme, and obtained an MBA.
From 2015 to 2019, he was based in the Shanghai office of KPMG Huazhen LLP, where he provided a wide range of professional services in auditing, taxation and advisory to Japanese companies operating in China.
After returning to Japan, he provided support for various China-related services from both outbound and inbound perspectives.
Author of: 'Investment, Accounting and Taxation of Chinese Subsidiaries <3rd Edition>' (co-authored by Chuokeizai-sha, September 2018).
Also gave a lecture on Japanese companies entering China at the Central University of Finance and Economics in July 2022 as an external lecturer.
