Umar Alvi Senior Compliance Manager - Quality and Risk

Umar is a Senior Compliance Manager in the Quality and Risk Management team. Umar supports internal stakeholders with complex queries and develops policies, procedures, and guidance regarding compliance areas of responsibility such as Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Market Abuse. This enables Mazars UK and its personnel to deliver quality service whilst complying with legal, regulatory and professional obligations. 

Prior to joining Mazars UK, Umar worked in the banking sector for over eight years and then moved to a global asset management firm. 

He is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and possesses the ICA International Diploma in Governance Risk and Compliance in addition to his bachelor's degree in Software Engineering.
