Toby Akrab Partner

Toby has over 16 years of experience providing audit and advisory services, including external audits under AICPA and PCAOB standards. She has worked in a number of financial services industries, specializing in private equity and employee benefits plans. Toby also has expertise in testing the operating effectiveness of controls under SOX. She has performed the audits of several large and mid-size national and international financial services clients.

Toby is part of the Mazars Quality and Risk Management Practice, regularly working with auditors on various Mazars engagements. She performs internal inspections, assists teams with technical consultations, is responsible for client continuance and acceptance, technical accounting updates, quality control policies under Statement of Auditing Standards no. 8, and ethics and independence.

Toby holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Brooklyn College.
