Shireen Tan Director, Head of Risk Management

Shireen Tan now heads the Risk Management practice in Singapore. She is a risk management specialist with over 20 years of professional experience in audit services and risk and compliance from Big Four accounting firms.

Shireen started her career as an auditor in a Big Four firm in Malaysia before relocating to Singapore in 2007. She brings with her 6 years of audit experience where she performed audits of firms of all sizes from multinationals to local companies. She supported clients from a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, trading, construction, property development and agricultural industries.

Prior to joining Mazars, Shireen spent over 14 years in the quality and risk management function of a Big Four firm, specialising in the areas of risk, independence and regulatory compliance. She was a strong contributor in the implementation of risk policies and have participated actively in various quality initiatives.

With her extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in risk management, Shireen will help to expand the risk management function in Mazars in Singapore. She will perform a key role in strengthening the firm’s compliance with professional standards, laws and regulations whilst contributing to the overall development of the firm’s quality management system.

Shireen graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from RMIT University, Australia and is a member of CPA Australia.
