Pauline Davison Partner - Outsourcing

Pauline is a partner providing financial Outsourcing solutions to mid-market and entrepreneurial businesses across the UK. She works with stakeholders and owners to help identify the best technology and processes to encourage growth and ensure robust management reporting is in place to aid business decisions.

Experience

Pauline has over 25 years of experience in both industry and the accounting profession. Having first-hand experience in finance director roles in the industry allows Pauline to see things from our clients' perspectives.

Her senior executive experience in fast-growing businesses is particularly beneficial to support businesses who are on a similar growth trajectory, or in larger businesses where the finance processes and systems have not kept up with business growth.

Pauline led the finance team of a successful, fast-growing restaurant group as they grew from one to 18 sites. She subsequently led the finance team of a growing omnichannel beauty business prior to joining Mazars.

Highlights from her tenure in industry include establishing finance teams from scratch, implementing new accounting systems, including ERP, leading businesses through private equity transactions and renegotiation of lending.

Work Highlights 

Pauline loves to find solutions for our clients, to help them to propel their business forward, by bolstering their team, streamlining systems or improving the quality of their management information. She has worked with several clients, accelerating their management accounts process, ensuring that they receive quality, robust financial information on a timely basis. She has also provided specific solutions to clients to facilitate the training of their in-house team as well as providing technology solutions to improve processes and ensure the business is ready to scale.

She is passionate about our people and being part of the Leeds team who won the Yorkshire Accountancy Award for Diversity and Inclusion. This has been a particular highlight of Paulines since joining Mazars.

Contributing to the wider business is important to Pauline and she has established the Menopause Network internally to raise awareness and to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals who are affected.
