Michelle Olckers Co-CEO Mazars in South Africa
Current Position
Michelle is the Regional Leader of Mazars in Cape Town. She serves as a member of the Exco committee at Mazars in South Africa.
Experience
Michelle studied a BComm at UCT and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999.
She started her career with Mazars in 1997 as an article clerk. After completing her articles she was appointed as an Audit Manager and progressed to become a Partner in 2003.
She spent 3 months on secondment in Indianapolis, Indiana in the United States in 2000.
She also serves on the South African National Board and Executive Committee.
Her clients range from privately held businesses to large owner managed businesses.

Michelle has significant involvement in practice management and employee relations and is passionate about learning and development.
She completed an international Executive Management of Business Administration (EMBA) through Mazars in 2014.
Up until December 2016 she contributed on an international basis to the Management of Mazars through her role as a member of the owner managed business’s Global Business Unit Board (GBU OMB).
In December 2016 she was elected to serve as a member of the Group Governance Council (GGC) of Mazars Group where she also plays a role on the partnership development sub-committee as well as contributes to the overall monitoring of the implementation of the global strategy.
