Melanie Odendaal Partner - Audit
Melanie Odendaal is a Member of the National Governance Council and has over 15 years’ experience within the auditing profession. She joined Mazars in 2012.
Melanie started her career at Grant Thornton in 2000 and served her articles until December 2002. She was appointed Audit Manager thereafter and became Partner in 2007.
Experience
Melanie completed her BComm at UCT in 1998 and her Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting at UCT in 1999. She currently operates as an Audit Partner.
Melanie has experience in various sectors, both public and private. She specialises in auditing and consulting services to a diverse range of large owner-managed businesses and subsidiaries of listed entities.
Melanie has experience in a wide range of industries including:

- Wholesale
- Manufacturing
- Transport/Logistics
- Professional Services.
She also has extensive experience in the audit of attorneys trust accounts and is accredited to perform USAID/Yellow Book audits.
