Max Bark Partner - Financial Services

Max is a partner in our Financial Services team. Max's primary focus is to deliver balanced solutions to complex business issues and partner-led high-quality audits to financial services companies, notably in the mid-size overseas banking community.
Max joined Mazars in 2019, bringing over 20 years of domestic and international experience working at Big 4 professional services firms. He has a deep and broad knowledge of the financial services industry. Max has led complex projects providing audit and assurance services to a wide range of banks and other regulated and unregulated financial institutions in London, New York, San Juan de Puerto Rico and Buenos Aires. This includes regional as well as multinational banks (retail, commercial, private banking, investment banking), broker-dealers, wealth and asset managers, hedge funds, private equity firms and funds. He is experienced in IFRS, UK GAAP, US GAAP, Argentinean GAAP, SOx 404, SEC filing and reporting, FTSE plc filing and reporting, BCRA regulations and IPO transactions.
Max holds ACA and Audit qualifications from the ICAEW and is a US Certified Public Accountant (New York State CPA).
