Mark Chew Partner, Audit & Assurance

Mark started his career in a Big 4 firm, and has 11 years of audit and assurance experience, including 27 months of experience working in Melbourne, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant in both the Institute of Chartered Accountants Singapore (ISCA) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) and has joined Mazars as our Audit partner specializing in financial services sector, especially banking audits.

He specializes in financial services audits and has extensive experience working on the financial audits and internal control audits of banks, commodities trading houses, securities houses, investment management companies and unit trusts. He has also worked with start-ups, fintech and payment companies, and was recently involved in the digital banking license attestation process of one of the successful applicants of the new digital banks in Singapore.

Mark’s previous portfolios include the Singapore operations of globally systemically important banks, multinational investment banks, wholesale banks, capital market services licensees, stock exchanges, securities and commodities houses, funds and funds management companies, credit and charge card licensees, insurance companies and many others. He has vast knowledge and experience in banking and capital markets, including an understanding over the relevant Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) regulations and notices.
