Mário has more than 24 years of professional experience working in the insurance industry. Most of his professional career spanning national and multinational insurance companies and auditing and actuarial consulting firms for large companies in the sector.

Of his 24 years of experience, 21 were spent working directly with insurance companies and the rest at an audit firm, where he was part of the Advisory Actuarial Services team, a leading audit, actuarial consulting, and due-diligence projects. In Insurance, he was responsible for the introduction of the risk management culture with the structuring of the area and implementation of control mechanisms.
