Experience

Mansoor is a partner at Mazars and specialises in the provision of audit, tax and advisory services to a wide range of clients; including the real estate, investment, hotels & leisure, manufacturing, NGO and service industries.  
 
Mansoor joined Mazars Cape Town, then Moores Rowland, in 1999 as a trainee accountant, completing his articles in 2001, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant and registering with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA). He was subsequently selected to be seconded to Mazars’ Jersey office in the UK Channel Islands, gaining experience in an offshore banking location.  When he returned to Mazars Cape Town in 2002, he was promoted to audit manager and admitted to the partnership in 2004 and as a Registered Auditor (RA) with the Independent Regulatory Board of Auditors (IRBA).  
 
His vast experience in the accounting profession includes having advised a number of foreign investors successfully setting up operations in South Africa, corporate restructures, corporate governance, setting up of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPV), Business Process Outsourcing & Off-shoring (BPO&O), as well as consulting on Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) compliance.  Mansoor previously served on the SAICA Public Sector Committee. He is currently a director of Mazars Forensic Services (Pty) Ltd, is responsible for transformation. He is also the former chair of the Employment Equity Forum at Mazars Cape Town.
