José joined Mazars in 2020 as Audit Partner and is part of the NIIF Colombia team. He has more than 20 years of professional experience in statutory audit and external audit, specializing in the review and evaluation of financial statements, analysis and application of IFRS standards, he has experience in issues related to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley standards for major companies in the industrial sector.
In his professional career he has participated in projects for major national and international clients in the brewing, industrial, retail and utilities sectors. He has been a professor of financial assurance in the Accounting career at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Instituto Nacional de Contadores (INCP), Universidad del Norte, CESA (Colegio de Estudios superiores de Administración) and lecturer in numerous national and multinational companies.
