Duncan Dollman Partner
Duncan joined Mazars which was formerly called Baker Musikanth in 1983 as a manager, having completed his articles of clerkship at a medium-sized firm in Cape Town.
Experience
Duncan studied and graduated at the University of Cape Town, and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1982.
After travelling for a year, and completing his military service, he became a partner in 1985.
He was soon appointed the staff partner, founded the HR department and was responsible for recruiting and training some of the current Mazars partners. He has maintained an interest in auditing and technical developments and is a past member of the National SAICA and Chairman of the Western Cape Regional Continuing Professional Education Committees, and is a member of the Cape Town discussion group which meets to discuss industry developments.
His clients range from privately held businesses to large listed concerns.

Duncan assisted with the founding of our Corporate Finance Department and has been responsible for many fair and reasonable opinions and due diligence investigations involving listed companies.
He is a JSE Accredited Auditor and Reporting Accountant Specialist, and has been involved in the listing of companies in the manufacturing, construction supplies and REIT sectors. He is also an accredited Medical Scheme auditor.
Duncan also consults to several listed companies on technical matters.
