Chris Drewe Partner - Forensic & Investigation Services

Chris is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. He is an experienced forensic accountant who has worked in the context of a wide range of dispute resolution, investigation and other forensic accounting cases. 

Chris has taken instructions as a Party Appointed Expert and as a Single Joint Expert and has been the named individual responsible for investigations. He also continues to support Experts on complex accounting and financial matters. Chris has given oral testimony as an expert. 

Chris has worked in the context of instructions in the High Court (the Commercial Division and the Technology and Construction Court), arbitral proceedings in many jurisdictions (under ICC, LMAA, UNCITRAL and LCIA rules), the Iran-US Claims Tribunal, the Irish High Court, the High Court of Justice of the Isle of Man, the Criminal Courts (in the UK, Ireland and Egypt), Tax Tribunals, the Central London County Court, the United States Bankruptcy Court and in the context of Expert Determinations (both in providing submissions to the Determinator and acting as part of the Determination team).

Chris’ dispute resolution experience includes breach of contract claims, accounting disputes, post-acquisition warranty claims, loss of profits claims, contentious valuations, bilateral investment treaty disputes and professional negligence claims. His investigations experience includes instructions relating to allegations of fraud, accounting irregularities, money laundering and misrepresentation, regulatory investigations, cash and asset tracing assignments, royalty and licensee investigations and forensic audits.
