Petros Nacouzi Managing Partner

Petros Nacouzi is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales as well as the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus. He co-founded the Mazars firm in Nicosia in 2007 and currently heads the assurance and tax compliance services of the firm. Petros trained as a chartered accountant and worked in London between 1992 and 1997 predominantly occupied in the Insurance and Banking sectors of large audit firms, including a period at Mazars between 1992 to 1996. He previously acted as a partner in another mid-sized firm in Cyprus between 1998 and 2007. 

Other than acting as reporting partner for statutory IFRS audits and tax compliance engagements, Petros routinely provides advice on tax structuring and planning, often in cases of mergers and acquisitions, and has acted in a number of due diligence and agreed-upon-procedures engagements in a cross-border context.

Petros is fluent in English and is a native Greek speaker.
