Contribution to the B20-G20 Summit in Australia

The Business 20 (B20) is a forum through which the private sector produces policy recommendations for the annual meeting of the Group of 20 (G20) leaders. The B20 brings together business leaders from across G20 member countries to reflect the key role of the private sector as the main driver of strong, sustainable and balanced growth.

In 2013, Mazars contributed to the B20 Russia recommendations regarding the reform of the financial system.

This year we were part of the Financing Growth taskforce which focused on developing practical solutions to help accelerate global economic growth. The Financing Growth Taskforce was established under the leadership of coordinating chair Michael Smith OBE, CEO of Australia and New Zealand Banking Group, and co-chairs Peter Sands, CEO of Standard Chartered plc and Andrey Kostin, CEO and Chairman of VTB Bank. Financing Growth Taskforce Members are mostly senior executives from business, business associations and professional services firms including Mazars.
