Mazars University receives highest independent accreditation

Paris, 30 September: Mazars University receives highest independent accreditation - adding to firm’s reputation for learning
  • Mazars exhibits ‘best practice’ after corporate university assessed in 101 areas
  • University counts 21 development programmes, including flagship ‘The Next MBA’
  • Learning should not end when you start working’ says Chief People Officer

Mazars, the international audit and advisory firm, announces its corporate university – Mazars University – has received the CLIP accreditation for the second time running. CLIP is the leading accreditation for corporate universities based on 101 assessment areas and an external peer review. Businesses with the accreditation include Capgemini, Peugeot, Santander and Siemens, among others.

Mazars University receives the re-accreditation after successful assessment of its leadership, programmes and services, innovation, and human and physical resources capabilities.

The university was established in 2008 to help future business leaders learn new skills, share knowledge and foster innovation. It offers 21 leadership and business development programmes, including the flagship The Next MBA. Other Mazars University programmes include the Women Leadership Seminar and the Business Development Accelerator. Some 14,000 people, on average, study at the university every year. Mazars first received CLIP accreditation in 2015.

Hervé Hélias, CEO and Chairman, Mazars, says, “At Mazars we are a people business at heart. We feel a strong responsibility towards our people and their employability. By helping them grow as experts in their fields and empowering them to lead, we keep our finger on the pulse and put ourselves in the best position to serve our clients and remain an employer of choice. As an alumnus of The Next MBA myself, I know the importance of continually learning long after you leave the traditional classroom behind.”

Commenting on the ‘best practice’ exhibited by Mazars University, Martin Moehrle, Director of CLIP, says, “We were particularly impressed by Mazars University, especially the quality of the learning ecosystem it has built over the years, be it the other companies, faculty members or service providers. The relationship between the members goes well beyond a mere business transaction and can serve as example of best practice for the profession.”

Laurent Choain, Mazars’ Chief People, Education and Culture Officer, adds, “With this second CLIP accreditation, effective for another five years, Mazars confirms its commitment to setting high standards in the corporate learning world. This accreditation confirms our core belief that education should sit at the heart of any modern talent acquisition, management and development strategy. With over 7000 new joiners every year, we take our commitment to their development seriously – learning should not end when you start working.”
