Mazars in Canada – Louise Roby named “Femme Incontournable” of Finance

We would like to congratulate Louise Roby, Partner at Mazars, for her nomination as “Femme Incontournable” of Finance by the magazine Premières en Affaires.

Premières en Affaires is an independent french-speaking business magazine a mission to honor businesswomen and allow them to maintain their business network. Every year, the magazine pays tribute to influential women that are leaders in different sectors. In their latest edition, devoted to finance, Louise Roby was selected among 8 prominent women in this field in Québec.

These nominations honor women working in corporate finance, assurance and personal or institutional finance. They are tenacious, determined and well known in their field for their expertise, vision and skills in negotiation and communication.

It was last Tuesday, September 1st at the Sheraton Centre in Montreal, that the “Grande Soirée de la Finance” was held to honor 8 outstanding women before their peers and several professionals from the business community. 

Louise Roby, CPA Auditor, CA, Adm.A., joined the firm Harel Drouin, now known as Mazars, in 1988 and became a partner in 1999. She is now a member of the executive committee of Mazars in Canada and also leader of the public and parapublic companies. Very involved in the business community, Louise is Chair of the Board of La Chambre de Commerce de l'Est de Montréal as well as Treasurer and Secretary of the Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
