Mazars is proud to be once again a sponsor of the most important annual event in the Italian Banking Industry- Banking Union & Basel 3 – Risk & Supervision 2018- organised by the Italian Banking Association (ABI) on 14-15 June 2018 in Rome.
Risk management, Capital and European Supervision
2018 is the year of changes, challenges and opportunities for banks and other financial institutions. Taking a big leap in financial regulations and their implementation will change the legal framework for investment services. The 18th edition of the annual Italian Banking Industry event will provide numerous sessions on the European regulatory framework, supervisory practices and risks.
Mazars banking experts will join key stakeholders- supervisors, managers, consultants and academics, who work on these topics every day- to address these issues, both in plenary sessions, and in open parallel sessions.
The closing plenary session will have a deep dive on IFRS9 and strategic management on NPLs as well as possible internal, external and systemic solutions. Ms. Chiara Del Prete, the Banking Advisory Leader of Mazars Italy, will also provde her view on IFRS9 and NPL management: mainly focusing on the impact of NPL disposal strategies on NPL accounting valuation.
