Mazars is the Scientific Partner of the Africa Banking Forum 2015 in Abidjan

Mazars is proud to be the Scientific Partner of the 7th edition of the Africa Banking Forum (ABF), the largest event of banking services in North, West and Central Africa to be held on 11-12 June 2015 in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

ABF 2015 is organized with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Côte d’Ivoire and promises to be once again a not-to-be missed opportunity for industry professionals to meet and discuss over crucial issues related to the development of the banking sector in Africa.

Charles de Boisriou, Global Head of Financial Services at Mazars, will deliver a keynote speech on « The Good African bank » outlining the role of a socially engaged bank in the Economy and sustainable development.

Kamal Mokdad, Managing Partner of Mazars in Morocco, will be part of the scientific committee and moderate a panel discussion on the financing and access to the banking system for small businesses.

African Banks facing new challenges

ABF 2015 will discuss the basis of new state/bank roadmap, the convergence between banking sector and other economic sectors (like Insurance and telecoms), the development of Para-banking activities, the financing of Small and Medium Enterprises along with the technological structuring of banks. The Innovation sessions will, meanwhile, be an important opportunity for key players to present their latest innovations and solutions.
