I joined Mazars in 2002 shortly after the opening of the Shanghai office and after 5 years in audit. I've been with Mazars for five years too, now, and I'm still convinced joining the group was the right decision.
From the beginning, I've had the opportunity to work in close cooperation with 2 partners and to assist them in setting up and expanding our office.
We were 7 or 8 people in 2002; we're more than 90 people now.
In June 2006, I went to Paris for the Group Manager Training Seminar. It was a wonderful experience for me to meet colleagues from Mazars offices in the UK, Ireland, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy, France. We shared experiences and learned more about Mazars' culture, ethics and values.
I was promoted to be the local partner in February 2007.

Skills Development
The Group places great emphasis on a professional helping of its employees :
- Each employee has a personal mentor. From the time you join, you will be guided by a mentor who will remain your key point of contact throughout your career.
- Training arrangements have been implemented both at national and Group level: integration seminars, technical training, managerial training, coaching, preparation for professional examinations. We devote around 10% of our time to individual training and coaching for our young employees, in order to help them achieve the required level of skills and expertise.
- Regular appraisals allow you to keep track of your personal development.
Mobility
In order to assist our clients with their international expansion and to offer development opportunities to our employees, we have set up an exchange programme between our various offices.
We are fully transparent in our disclosure of available positions.
