Mazars has appointed Eric Piétrac as Corporate Director of Human Resources, with a view to fostering its international development through an ambitious HR policy.
CREATION OF A NEW POSITION

By creating this new HR position at group level, Mazars reaffirms its ambitions to develop and strengthen its human capital on all five continents, at a time when the organisation experiences significant growth.
Eric Piétrac will be in charge of implementing a consistent innovative trans-national human resource policy.
Eric Piétrac reports to John Mellows, member of Mazars' Group Executive Board. He is based in Paris.
ERIC PIETRAC'S CAREER PATH
Eric Piétrac is a graduate of Ecole des Mines d'Alès and holds an MBA from Ecole Supérieure de Management de Lyon. He started his professional career in Argentina with Saint Gobain as an engineer .
On returning to France, he held several positions in production and human resources with Saint Gobain.
In 1996, he joined Abilis (Védior group) as head of human resources management and training. His initiative in the area of equal opportunities (415 new staff were hired in the course of two years) resulted in the group's nomination for a social initiative prize ("Distinctions de l'initiative sociale") in 1997.
In January 2000 Eric Piétrac became director of human resources for Deloitte in France.
He became Director of Human Resources for the Mazars group in May 2005.
He is the co-author of "Entreprises, salariés: une autre idée de la relation", a study on intra-company relationships published in France by JM Laffont (2003).
Mazars is an international organisation specialising in audit, accounting, tax and business advisory. It has a presence in 58 companies and comprises a community of 10,000 people sharing the same values. It has turnover of €475m for its integrated partnership in 38 countries.
