David, aged 56, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountant's in England and Wales and joined Mazars UK (then called Neville Russell) in 1982, from a "Big 4" accountancy firm, becoming a partner in 1987. 
David's specialism is corporate finance and he continues to act in a lead advisory capacity on a range of transactions as well as providing corporate advice to a range of clients.  In 2001, David became managing partner for the “Chilterns Region” of the firm, comprising  four offices in Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Oxford.  David held this position until the end of 2004. 
David was additionally asked in 2002 to join the National Executive, which has overall responsibility for all aspects of running the UK firm.  In January 2004, David was elected by the partnership to the position of UK Senior Partner, a position he continues to hold.  In December 2006 he was elected as a member of the Mazars Group Executive Board.
