Mazars in North America


In North America, Mazars has chosen to form a close alliance which allows us to offer the varied skills of several thousand professionals to European companies. Our strategy is to draw on the skills of major US firms in the context of long-term alliances, while retaining our independence from their existing networks.

For our US development strategy, Mazars chose not to merge with national firms, as we have done in Europe, opting instead to form agreements with key partners.
This more pragmatic approach is better suited to the American market, and is designed to be the most efficient and competitive possible. This also has the advantage of allowing broad coverage of the US economic and financial centres.

Such agreements have been made in 2000 with MR Weiser, one of the oldest independent audit and consulting firms in New York and with Moss Adams, one of the biggest and most dynamic West Coast companies.

In 2001, Mazars signed an agreement with BKD, which has a strong presence in several Mid-Western states.
