Mazars proudly sponsors the 2023 Africa Financial Industry Summit

Mazars will again be sponsoring the Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS) awards ceremony in Lomé, Togo. Join us on 15-16 November to hear our experts, who have become regulars on panels and round table discussions at the event, sharing key topics and trends in the financial sector.

The leading gathering for the African financial industry

With 1,000 financial industry leaders, bankers, insurers, fintechs, capital markets, mobile money operators, policymakers, and regulators from Africa and beyond, the annual AFIS brings together the most influential stakeholders in African finance. Over the course of two days which will comprise conferences, debates, and high-level meetings, participants will collaboratively strive to develop concrete solutions to the many challenges facing the sector and build a more inclusive and robust pan-African financial services industry.

The AFIS awards: celebrating African success

The AFIS awards reward companies and individuals who have made significant contributions to the growth of the African financial sector.

Some 30 candidates, including companies, female executives, and central bank governors, are nominated annually to represent the continent's financial vitality and resilience. For each category, a prestigious, multi-disciplinary jury composed of professionals and industry experts alike is responsible for selecting the nominees.

Following our appointment as ‘Knowledge Partner’ in 2021, and as Awards sponsor in 2022, we are once again delighted to sponsor the awards ceremony in 2023, where we hope to shine a light on the continent's top achievements and inspiring personalities.

Zied Loukil, Partner, will be acting as a juror for the African Champion award.

This award is dedicated to economic integration on the continent and recognises the African financial group that has excelled in its regional expansion strategy and significantly increased its presence and activity on the continent.
