Mazars in Africa
Mazars assists in the development of companies in both francophone and anglophone Africa and helps international firms to gain a foothold on the market.
We work alongside them through the various stages of their development, providing them with detailed knowledge of the economic and social environment. They can also benefit from the expertise of professionals who are involved in the life and culture of the region.
In 2009 Mazars continued to strengthen its presence in Southern Africa with the setting up of an office in Mauritius and also with a new entity in Angola.

Mazars can draw on the skills and experience of around 250 professionals in Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia in order to assist local companies and institutions, as well as large international groups, with their development.
Mazars is also present in Egypt through the newly-integrated Shawki and Co. gathering around 450 professionals across the country.
In Southern Africa
Mazars is building a bigger presence in South Africa, with Moores Rowland offices formally joining the integrated structure of the Group from September 1, 2007.
Mazars Moores Rowland SA plays a pivotal role in Mazars’ development in sub-Saharan Africa and adding to the Group’s base in Francophone countries on the continent. The local firm is soundly established as a practice acting for listed companies and providing services to owner-managed, entrepreneurial businesses and high net worth individuals.
In West and Central Africa
Mazars has a presence in the key countries in Western and Central Africa. It operates through four units which benefit from synergies. These offices are also bridgeheads for working with companies in neighbouring countries. In total, Mazars has the capacity to operate in around 15 countries, thanks to its integrated offices and network of correspondents. Mazars has a presence in the Ivory Coast, Benin, Senegal, and Cameroon, and can operate in the following countries: Bostwana, Burkina Faso, Niger, Togo, Chad, the Central African Republic, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Mali, Guinea (Conakry), Mauritania and Guinea-Bissau.
