William Kelly General Counsel

Bill serves as Mazars in the US' General Counsel, advising upon regulatory affairs, litigation and practice acquisition, as well as counseling the firm on all legal matters and risk management. Bill has almost 20 years of professional experience, including civil and commercial litigation, professional liability, and representing accountants and accounting firms before various courts, courts of appeal and regulatory bodies. Prior to joining Mazars in the US in 2017, he was a partner at a national litigation firm where he specialized in representing accounting firms. Bill graduated from Binghamton University with a BA in Environmental Studies. He then went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
