You will find here Mazars' HR Press Kit.
The international war of talents is under way. Major firms are joining the battle in order to attract and establish the best relationships amongst recently qualified people. The question that comes to mind is whether Mazars is willing to participate in this battle. In the sense commonly given, I don’t think this is likely. We do not necessarily wish to attract the most academic people. We would like to continue building the Mazars adventure on five continents with women and men who have a broad general interest, like to tackle challenges, have the thirst to learn and to share ideas with their colleagues, and who are interested in others. We also search for open-minded people capable of constantly adding their thoughts on pre-established schemes.
With the “Mazars Way”, we clearly set out our values and management principles. The “Mazars Way” is the essence of Mazars, the bedrock of our culture, which guides our development and our relations with everyone involved with Mazars: staff, clients, the professional community, the social community. It is what makes Mazars unique, its DNA. In this book the interview of Patrick de Cambourg, President of Mazars.
More than 50% of the people who will be working for Mazars in 3 years’ time have not yet joined the Group.
Mazars seeks to win the best people by offering them the opportunity to develop their potential in a rapidly expanding Group and so keep them loyal in the long term. This is why we have developed and implemented an ambitious global recruitment strategy. Mazars always takes the long term view and acts firmly in the interest of continuity.
International groups like Mazars need to offer attractive careers to their staff and support them in fulfilling their ambitions and their potential. To make these professional journeys successful, Mazars has set up a series of measures which helps everyone to make the best choices, and enables the Group to support each member of staff as they build their career at Mazars, and their Mazars “citizenship”.
Mazars is a business services firm, organised as an integrated partnership. For these two key reasons, people are at the heart of its organisation; their skills and their entrepreneurial spirit are the source of the Group’s development. The creation of Mazars University is a response to challenges that are faced on a daily basis by our Partners and staff: responding to the expectations of economic and financial market players and ensuring the sustainable growth of the partnership. The ambitions of this university go beyond training – they are strategic, because Mazars wishes to nurture the global leaders of tomorrow and enable them to offer tailored solutions to their clients across the five continents.
At Mazars we treat every individual as a complex human being, and we try to offer them a working environment that feel they can really live in, one that allows them to achieve a happy work-life balance, and to bloom. As a responsible business, aware of its role in society as well as the economy, Mazars is active in initiatives that allow individual members of staff to take part in sponsorship or charitable projects and become more positively involved with the wider world.
