At Mazars, diversity is a key value, and is encouraged and promoted by concrete actions at the heart of our organisation and towards the professional and social communities to which we belong.
Thus, on 15th September 2009, the 26 Mazars patrons met their protégés as per the partnership arranged between Mazars and ‘Nos Quartiers ont des Talents’. The latter organisation aims to facilitate access to employment for young graduates from disadvantaged neighbourhoods by means of the companionship and supervision of ‘patrons’ from the business world.
In addition, on 30th September 2009, the french “Grande école” Sciences Po named Eric Pietrac, HR Director for the Mazars Group, ambassador for the ‘Zone d’Education Prioritaire’(ZEP) project, thus paying tribute to his commitment to diversity. This initiative enables Sciences Po to accept students from ZEPs by means of a targeted system.
These two events form part of same process, whose goal is to enable young people from disadvantaged areas to pursue higher education and to integrate better into the market of work, and thus to promote diversity in the professional environment.
