Caroline Van Troeyen joined Mazars in May 2006 as Group General Secretary. She is in charge inter alia of partnership life, international development follow up and communication. After graduation in Business and Management at the Paris IX Dauphine University, she joined Arthur Andersen in 1989 as an auditor. In 1993, she joined the French Confederation of Industry as Deputy to the Director of Finance Commission; she was actively involved in the preparation of the report on issues linked to the transition to the Euro published in 1997 (Rapport Simon-Creyssel) and was in charge of the working groups dedicated to accounting and financial information. In 1999, she joined the audit firm RSM Salustro Reydel as the General Secretary of the Comité Arnaud Bertrand which became in 2002 the Public Interest Entities Committee of the Compagnie Nationale des Commissaires aux Comptes.
